This case study highlights Quattris’ ability to execute complex projects across challenging geographic regions.

End Client Profile

A Canadian athletic apparel company with over 800 stores worldwide.

Project Scope

The project aimed to implement an advanced traffic counting solution to gather valuable data for optimizing retail performance. The client’s requirement was to deploy a comprehensive traffic counting solution in all of its 204 stores, spanning across the vast and diverse geographies of Australia and New Zealand. Quattris was entrusted with the complete project lifecycle, which included equipment purchase, installation, testing, and post-installation data analysis.

Challenges

The geographic expanse of Australia and New Zealand posed significant logistical challenges. Coordinating resources and ensuring timely equipment delivery to remote locations across the two countries demanded meticulous planning and execution. Additionally, ensuring consistent and accurate data collection at every store was of paramount importance to the success of the project.

Quattris Global Solution

Quattris leveraged its expertise in project management and logistics to tackle this ambitious undertaking. The team meticulously planned the deployment of personnel and equipment to each store, considering factors like transportation, customs, and regional regulations.

At each store, Quattris installed state-of-the-art traffic counting equipment to accurately measure footfall and customer traffic. The installation process was carried out efficiently to minimize any disruption to the store’s daily operations.

To ensure the data gathered from each store was of utmost value, Quattris conducted post-installation analysis, identifying patterns, and trends to provide actionable insights to the fashion brand. This data-driven approach empowered the client to optimize store layouts, staffing, and marketing strategies based on customer foot traffic.

Project Outcome

Quattris’ dedication to detail and commitment to excellence led to the successful completion of the project. Despite the challenges presented by the vast geography, the team delivered the traffic counting solution on time and within the allocated budget. Not a single installation experienced any issues or failures, showcasing the level of precision and expertise brought to the project by Quattris. By implementing the traffic counting solution, the client gained valuable insights into customer behaviour and store performance. The data-driven optimizations enabled the client to enhance the shopping experience, allocate resources more effectively, and drive higher revenue across its extensive store network.

SD WAN Migration for a leading sports apparel brand during covid-19

End Client Profile

A multinational corporation that designs and manufactures footwear, apparel, and sports equipment with 1000+ retail stores and a turnover of more than $38 billion per year.

Business Challenges

This was an SD WAN migration in 300+ stores across Europe to make the network more secure. Quattris was required to provide the L2 engineers for each site with a timeline of 4 hours to complete each site. This project was executed during the pandemic; therefore, the major challenge was ensuring the engineer availability amid lockdowns, travel restrictions and reduction of workforce while adhering to the lockdown rules of each country. This challenge was compounded by delays in equipment delivery and RE unavailability resulting in frequent reschedules and cancellations.

Quattris Global Solution

To ensure the smooth execution of the project, Quattris assigned a dedicated project manager and two project coordinators. We ensured our service delivery and technical teams were aware of the challenges of this project.

Our technical team ensured that the engineers fully understood migration documents, onsite timeframe, and technical details of the scope. We conducted daily preparation sessions with our field team resulting in smooth execution of work onsite.

Our service delivery team provided the much-needed flexibility by constantly adjusting to the last-minute schedule changes and cancellations. They remained constantly in touch with the field teams providing them schedule updates and much needed motivation. They also kept up to date with everchanging lockdown and travel policies thus minimising the risk of last-minute cancellations from our end.

Project Outcome

The project was completed successfully. We achieved 99.5% onsite attendance as per the dates set by the client and managed to complete all sites on schedule with only 0.1% of delays caused Quattris. We received a lot of appreciation by our partner and end client for exceeding their expectations.

Setting up new retail smart stores across Europe for a toy manufacturer

End Client Profile

One of the world’s largest toy-producing companies with an annual turnover of approximately 6 billion Euros.

Business Challenges

The customer required our assistance in setting up 90 retail stores across Europe by a certain deadline. The scope consisted of the deployment of LED screens, printers, switches, routers, APs, POS terminals, workstations, and credit card devices. Due to some issues with their logistics partner, there was a huge delay in equipment arrival in certain countries. This could potentially impact the project deadline drastically.

Quattris Global Solution

Our team worked closely with the channel partner and end-client to carefully design schedules around delivery and arrival of equipment, minimizing the impact of the delivery delays significantly.

The project required field engineers that were well equipped with the right tools and experience of setting up retail stores. The engineers had to follow the specific installation guideline for each type of device to ensure project success.  The process of installing the equipment within the specific timeframe had left no room for error.

In line with the expertise of IT professionals required to roll out such critical projects, we assembled a team of our best IT engineers, project coordinators, and project managers to execute this project. On average we completed a whole store, from installing the racks to bringing the store to live, within 2.5 days.

Project Outcome

The project was completed in time, on budget with minimal issues and zero equipment damages. Due to our performance on this project, we were awarded with the maintenance contract for all the stores.
